Wish the air flow was front to back like it is in the Mac Pro. It could be like the intakes for the MBP, with slots in the bottom corners.
This still isn't great for cooling either way. So perhaps the intakes are hidden underneath the skids. The vent in the rear-bottom is maybe the exhaust where hot air comes out. It needs an intake and exhaust for the cooling system. Despite these issues, Prosser and his render artist confirmed that this arrangement was precisely what was shown in the leaked documents. The Mac mini doesn't have these issues, however, so the port seems useless beyond aesthetic purposes.
